This is one of those places where you should not "Judge a book by its cover" with that said yes the rooms are redone there are other things that made me only put 3/5 stars. I do not think my coffee pot had been cleaned in a long time as when I went to use it on my last day there, and when I opened it up to put my coffee in there was moldy coffee still in there from forever ago, my room was not cleaned all weekend, they advertise that they have "Continental breakfast" but apparently if you book with a company/group booking they do not offer continental breakfast. Other then that I don't have any complaints.
For a motel this place was nice. Seems to have been renovated not too long ago. Room was clean and comfortable.
Needs some TLC. The rooms were recently renovated. The owners are trying to make improvements. Pros; nice location, fridge microwave TV, all were in good working order. They installed USB power bars by the bed to assist with personal electronics. Cons; no breakfast, bugs in towels, forever hot water - then too hot, hairs in shower, wobbly table, paper thin walls - I should not be able to hear every squeak of the neighbour's bed.... along with hearing him snoring. My door was previously broken into and very difficult to lock, with lots of light shining through. No housekeeping on weekends. I can truly see the owners trying... I wish them well. There is lots of potential and most of my issues are adressable
