We stayed at the Galaxy motel in St Paul and found it to be nice value for money. The room was clean, staffs were kind to us, and I loved their floor in the room. I felt fresh with hardwood floor.My husband visits this area often, so he could compare with other motels. Anyway, I would say - he will be the regular.
Kind management though some maintenance is required. Used the kitchenette rooms for my stay. Burners are incapable of boiling water. And fridge is more lile a freezer even though I have the setting at its lowest point. Continental breakfast is alright. Serves scrambled eggs, sausage, toast and cereal. Nights are generally quiet besided the odd truck driving by on the main road.
Owners ate friendly, rooms were clean. Too much local traffic.
Living in St Paul most my life I chose to have a getaway here away from my usual life. I found it to be quiet and clean and really relaxed. For the price I paid, it was worth it.
